Mizani Africa has just released the results of its 2024 opinion poll, revealing the approval ratings for all 47 governors in Kenya.
Leading the pack is Governor Anne Waiguru of Kirinyaga County, who has been named the most popular Governor in Kenya for 2024, with an impressive approval rating of 86.3%.
Close on her heels is Governor Muthomi Njuki of Tharaka Nithi, boasting a notable 79.7% approval rating.
Governor Ole Lenku secured the third spot with an approval rating of 78.1%, reflecting strong support from Kajiado County residents.
The fourth position goes to Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu of Narok with a 74.2% approval rating. Governor James Orengo of Siaya follows in fifth place with 72.1%, while Governor Irungu Kang’ata of Murang’a ranks sixth with 68.5%.
Governor Gladys Wanga of Homa Bay comes in seventh with a 65.3% approval rating, and Governor Simba Arati of Kisii is eighth with 63.4%.
The ninth spot is taken by Governor George Natembeya of Trans Nzoia with 62.1%, and rounding out the top ten is Governor Stephen Sang of Nandi with a 60.5% approval rating.
The survey was conducted from June 20th to July 15th, 2024, with a sample size of 4,700 respondents.
Telephonic interviews were used to gather data from Kenyan adults aged 18 and above, living in both urban and rural areas.
